Consultant with Pearson/Savvas as a Curriculum Specialist presenting program training and activations throughout the country for sciences K-12, math K-5, humanities K-5, and AP electives. Presented virtual training.


2013-2018Administrative Administrative Assistant for the MRC-K9 (Missouri Region C canine search team). Maintained team training registers, financial records, and state and federal documents. Set up and managed social media sites. Supported team members in the field on active search and rescue missions. Hosted the CSAR (Canine Search and Rescue) conference in 2014.

Science teacher. Taught five science subjects and developed unique curricula for public high school in Forensics and Environmental Science. Developed a Forensic Science course for the high school and dual credit course. In 2001, as a Steering Committee member and presenter for the FSEC (Forensics Science Education Conference), in conjunction with Saint Louis University, Saigh Foundation, and The AAFS (American Academy of Forensic Sciences), put on four international conferences. The 2001 FSEC conference was the first of its kind and became the model for all AAFS conferences to follow.

2003-2005Washington University- Science Outreach Summer Research Fellowship for Science Teachers Program, Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship, St. Louis, Missouri


Developed curriculum for advanced high school science/introductory college biology classes involving original lab experience distinguishing Daphnia species using PCR based DNA analysis of hemoglobin gene sequence. Assisted in genetic research for PhD candidate thesis (NSF funded program).
