Built a linear regression model using SAS to explore factors that best predict the user ratings of Apple Store apps; identified number of available languages, game app dummy and app size to be the three most significant indicators for higher ratings.
Performed exploratory data analysis and tested multiple data transformations to improve model fit; used backward and stepwise regression to avoid model overfitting.
Compared and selected models by examining their Adjusted R^2 in training and testing data set.
