PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
I am an American student who has lived and gone to school in Hawaii, Germany, Kyushu and Okinawa, Japan. I was raised in a family where traveling and experiencing different cultures is paramount for one's upbringing. This has given me an immense appreciation towards other cultures and ways of living. I currently attend Keene State College in New Hampshire, and will be graduating in 2020. I am a Management: Marketing Specialization major, who is trying to get his foot in the door in the Marketing World. I have had Marketing and Advertising experience, interning for MCCS (Marine Corps Community Services) Marketing on Okinawa Japan, which allowed me to develop my skills as a writer and advertising strategist. I am also currently the Advertising Director for my school’s newspaper. I am looking to find quality internships and/or jobs in the business world.

I became the Advertising Director for the newspaper at my school my Junior year (9/12/18) and will keep the position until graduation. With this job, I am responsible for organizing the sales and supervising the design of all advertising material in the paper. I meet with local companies and on-campus clubs that are interested in purchasing an advertisement. I negotiate prices and then present to the executive board a weekly advertising report which includes the commissions to be paid to advertising representatives. I'm responsible for all customer relationship management as well as invoices with the aid of the Business Manager.

I worked on a Construction Site building an Assistant Living Complex in Keene, New Hampshire. I started during the 2018 summer and ended on December 14th. I started off as a laborer which consisted of hauling materials, installing doors and windows, etc. I later became a carpenter’s assistant, where I worked with carpenters and assisted them with whatever the project was.

I published several articles each month, consisting of advertisements for various stores or events, biographies, news, editorials, and stories involving the military in Okinawa. I was asked to join the department and help with military marketing. This allowed me to develop my skills as a writer and advertising strategist.
