• Assessing the barriers of access to care faced by adults with IDDs when seeking and receiving dental care.
• 18 month long research grant focused on the 5 domains of access to care; access, availability, accessibility, accommodation, affordability, and acceptability through the patient perspective.
• Project managed public health outreach to underserved population regarding the importance of dental care.

Public Health Challenges Tanzania, Participant July 2019 to July 2019
• Collaborate with professors and students from the University of Dodoma in Tanzania.
• Engaged in classroom and field activities that observed economic, educational, political, sociocultural, environmental, ecological, and biological obstacles to attaining global health.
• Analyzed root causes of morbidity and mortality in Sub-Saharan Africa and how they are affected by demographic, sociocultural, biological, occupational, and environmental factors
