Louis Armstrong Jazz Award (High School)?2017
The Louis Armstrong Award, or sometimes the King Bee Award, is the "top senior jazz award" or highest level interscholastic award given to a musician. It is given out by high schools nationwide in the United States in recognition of "outstanding musical achievement and an incredible dedication to the program". Typically there is only one recipient per high school.
Music Department Award (High School)? 2017
Given to two graduating seniors in high school for outstanding musical achievements and talents. These students are selected out of all of the seniors in the all the music organizations in the given high school.
Aurelia B. Walford Scholarship (College) ?2017
Scholarship for incoming freshmen accepted to Mary Washington University full-time, majoring in Music. Audition is required; applicants must perform two published selections, one essentially lyrical and one displaying technical proficiency.

Silver Tone Swing Band, 2016-Present
• Baritone Saxophone sub player of this professional swing band
• Traveled around the Virginia area to perform classic swing and big band standards
Buffalo Wild Wings, 2018-Present
• Took orders from customers and entering orders into a POS System
• Made sure food was prepared, ran out on time, and the customers were satisfied with their meal
• Washed and prepared silverware and dishes
• Collected bills, tips, and other payments, and processed them into a POS System
• Managed customer interactions and amended problems that needed to be fixed

Musical Ability
Saxophone Player: Knowledge of all Major and Minor Scales, Familiar with how wind players perform and interact with the rest of an ensemble.
Theory: Fluency of Diatonic and Chromatic Music Theory. Well versed in song forms and how songs are structured and created.
Recording/ Producing: Knowledge of appropriate microphone techniques, Knowledge of proper acoustic settings, Knowledge of advanced mixing techniques. Extensive knowledge in Ableton Live and proficient with Logic Pro.
Other Computer Skills:
Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working on both MacOS and Windows.

• Been a guest on a radio show twice to promote my university’s Jazz4JusticeTM program
