Responsible for major component exchanges (generator, gearbox, main shaft, blade, blade bearing), troubleshooting, and maintenance of wind turbines. Lubricated gears and pinions. Usage of schematics to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in contactors, relays, motors, and wiring. Extensive use of multi-meters to check voltage and continuity. Completed bearing replacements. Frequently torqued and checked torque fasteners to manufacturer specifications using hydraulic Hy-Torq equipment and manual torque wrenches.
