• Led a community activity that seeks to promote junior high school students towards the awareness and the preparation of college

• Caregiver, A&B Homecare and Staffing, Inc (07/16/17-09/20/17; 06/2018-07/2018): fed, bathe, clothed, dressed, and exercised Andrew Ward, a disabled boy, from Monday until Saturday full time; recorded and submitted my task on the task sheets with his father’s signature.
• Team Leader, Jumpstart, (Oct 2018-Jan 2019): as a work-study job, my teammates and I tutor low-income, minority preschoolers at Tiny Totes. This company seeks to support low-income family with economic and social resources in their gentrified community; we also plan social events with preschoolers’ family member to be more inclusive towards diverse, cultural familial relations, attend training sessions throughout the week for two-four hours, carrying out duties demanded by preschool teachers, organizing the preschool supplies,etc.
Affiliations & Activities
• Phi Alpha Delta UW Chapter (Current), full membership of this prelaw society that grants me the benefit of having like-minded individuals aspiring law school, having numerous law school’s representatives and lawyer panelists giving us advices regarding law school preparation; reduce prices on LSAT prep books, free LSAT prep classes, networking with lawyers, etc.
• Law, Societies, and Justice Special Offender’s Unit book club (Current): on the first Saturday of each month, I and 5-7 fellow LSJ students engage in a book discussion with prisoners as a yearlong service learning commitment under LSJ 478: Experience of Incarceration
• Prelaw Black Law Students Association (BLSA)UW Chapter(2017-current): I am part of this organization that grants black prelaw students or aspiring future black lawyers opportunities such as LSAT scholarship prep classes, black lawyers in the community, black UW law students panels so that we are granted advices on how to prepare for law school
• Black Campus Ministries (Sept 2016- Jun2018): associated with black UW students who share the same Christian beliefs at UW, having soul food events for black and African students regardless of their religious or other intersectional preferences, having Bible studies and prayers, and having retreats outside of UW with other black students
• African Student Association (Sept 2016-April 2017; Sept 2018-Current): part of an African community at UW that seeks to have representation on Campus through conversations and discussions of what it means to be African, having social events to promote the awareness of African students and their pride at UW, and attending/participating at the annual African Performance called, the Afro-Caribbean Night, where every African UW student performs an African dance pertaining to their country and culture.
