Inpatient Acute Care/Outpatient Orthopedics
• Evaluated acute care admissions and observation patients including post-surgical TKA, total shoulder, and THA followed by post-op treatment in the outpatient clinic to discharge
• Evaluated medically complex patient in the ICU and ED patients for safety, assistive devices, and plan of care recommendations
• Presented safety, mobility, and discharge recommendations during daily inter-professional rounds meetings

Outpatient Orthopedics
• Evaluated and treated veterans 25-90 years old with orthopedic conditions including THA, cervical and lumbar spine pain; neuromuscular conditions such as Parkinson’s and TBI; and vestibular issues including BPPV
• Gained experience treating medically complex patients including mentally complex patients while performing advanced manual therapy techniques and evaluated for and provided aquatic therapy
• Handled direct access patients including evaluation, medical supply, and powered mobility assessment
• Worked in a multidisciplinary team including the PCP, physiatrist, OT, and prosthetist to provide the most effective care for the veterans and their family
