From conducting research in the University of Southern California and the California State University of Los Angeles, operating After School Programs, and integrating Applied Behavior Analysis in the field while collecting behavioral data, my career path has been all but frivolous. The base of every step I have taken has been with the purpose of collaborating with peers and planting procedures to execute in the field.

EXPERIENCE

FEBRUARY 2020 – PRESENT
BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN, CALIFORNIA BEHAVIORAL TREATMENT CENTER INC.
• Meticulously set up clients' home with props that will be beneficial to the social development of the client.
• Communicating with supervisor in a scrupulous manner to improve clients' social interaction programs.
• Emphasizing heavily on frequency data to track progress proper behavioral cues and social cues set by supervisor and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Continuously rely on qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to have a larger scope on clients' behavior.

SEMPTEMBER 2019 – PRESENT
BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONIST (IMPLEMENTATION), STAFFREHAB
• Actively performing Applied Behavior Analysis in Special Education classroom by identifying Antecedent, Behavior, and Consequence; qualitative data to apply proper environmental set up to prevent escalations.
• Utilizing a wide variety of techniques and theories to ameliorate and de-escalate moderate to extreme behaviors.
• Coordinating between instructor and staff to identify antecedents and prevent escalation of future behaviors.
• Analyzing changes in behavior throughout the whole day as a method to optimize students' overall productivity.

JULY 2019 – AUGUST 2019
BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONIST, CALIFORNIA PSYCHCARE
• Diligently acquired frequency data and interval data to graph behavior alterations throughout the week.
• Intently analyzed graphs to determine behavior the efficiency of behavior programs.
• Mediated between supervisor and clients' parents to create behavior programs that will benefit the social development of the client.
• Pursued personal development by attending trainings, and thus becoming a better asset.

EDUCATION

MAY 2019
BACHELOR OF ARTS IN PSYCHOLOGY, CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY OF LOS ANGELES
• GPA: 3.084
• Performed an experiment in attempt to improve test performance by utilizing mindfulness as a method to reduce ego depletion.
• Utilized SPSS to run ANOVA and discover any significant differences between the following groups: Mindfulness vs No Mindfulness Performance Test Scores, Ego Depletion vs. No Ego Depletion Test Scores.
• Discovered significant difference on the within-subjects mental engagement and ego depletion; Pairwise comparison was made and determined that the No Mindfulness condition performed better after ego depletion than before ego depletion.
• Interned in a Multicultural Psychology Lab and explored the effects of 'ghosting' across cultures.
• Collaborated with PI and colleagues by attending weekly meetings to operationalize the 'ghosting' experiment.
• Jumpstarted a fitness program at low income housing complexes where I was a primary training instructor to residents while teaching them English as well.

ASSOCIATES OF ARTS IN PSYCHOLOGY, EAST LOS ANGELES COMMUNITY COLLEGE
• GPA: 3.458
• Emphasized on research methods within the field of Psychology and the utilization of Statistics to quantify and operationalize human social interactions.
• Collaborated with colleagues on an experiment to investigate if there was a correlation between puzzle solving and test performance.
• Independent t-test were conducted to come into conclusion there was a correlation between the two, although the sample size was not diversified. (Convenient sample was used)

• Through the Science, Technology, and Research Program (STAR) in Bravo Medical Magnet High School (2006-08), I was exposed to laboratory techniques (i.e. electrophoresis, buffer production) and equipment (i.e. centrifuge, spectrophotometer).
• Competed for 2 years (2002-04) in the Los Angeles Science Fair where I was introduced to the scientific process and its ethics.
