Director/Editor — Assassinaut — 2015-present
Wrote, directed, and edited the independent feature film Assassinaut (budget $400k) produced by Ultra Fuchsia Films. Directed a cast mainly consisting of children ages 12-18 with a strong emphasis on delivering realistic and emotionally honest performances. The film includes scenes containing complex action, elaborate set pieces, and high quality special and visual effects. The film was shot on location and constructed sets throughout the state of Virginia during 2015. Currently finishing editing the film and overseeing overall post production. Produced by Ultra Fuchsia Films.
Digital Compositor — Niko and the Sword of Light (season 2) 2018
Assembled shots in After Effects for Amazon Prime series produced by Titmouse Animation Studios. Incorporated hand-drawn 2D animation into painted background elements utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Animate and Photoshop. Prepped Photoshop background files for compositing. Made corrections and improved shots based on notes by Director and Art Director. Added visual and lighting effects to shots and integrated CGI elements.
Special Effects Supervisor — Return to Nuke ‘em High Volumes 1&2 - 2017/2013
Created special and visual effects for the feature film “Return to Class of Nuke ‘em High Volumes 1&2” produced by legendary independent film studio Troma Entertainment and directed by Lloyd Kaufman. Designed, sculpted, and created silicone prosthetics and monster characters. Directed special effects sequences within the film.
Special Effects Technician — West Efx/Army national guard - 2014/2017
Prepared and controlled safe pyrotechnic battlefield effects used for military training exercises for the Army National Guard. Utilized Hollywood special effects to create a fully realistic and safe learning experience for soldiers in order to save lives. Worked for the special effects company West EFX.
Producer — Dimension Games - 2016
Produced commercial for fantasy card game entitled Dimension. The project included the creation of elaborate fantasy costumes, locations, and visual effects.
Producer/Editor — Black Eyes - 2015
Produced, edited, composed music, and created special effects for short film directed by comic book author Rick Spears. Official selection for the FANTASIA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
