This fall I will begin my senior year of studying as a student at Bridgewater State University. I’m pursing my goal of eventually obtaining a full-time position in a clinic that serves with patients who deal with psychiatric disabilities; and to help part-time in an organization that serves with animals, rescued and disabled.
EXPERIENCE
Stylist, francesca’s; hyannis, Massachusetts — may 2018-Present
As a Stylist, I am responsible for delivering each guest to having the ultimate experience the store has to offer. I work to introducing them to the kinds of products the store has, customizing what we sell with what the individual already has, and creating that connection that always leaves the customer feeling at home at Francesca’s and wanting to come back for more. When I’m not on the sales floor making a connection with each customer, arranging our products, cleaning, and steaming the clothing, I’m typically behind the register helping with ringing and ensuring each guest had a pleasurable time. From the start of my shift, to the end, I also help tend to our sales charting and make sure the financial book is kept up to date on an hourly basis, and double checked at the end of the night as we touch up the store wherever necessary right before we are out the door.
Global ambassador, international studies abroad; Austin, Texas — January 2018-Present
As a Global Ambassador, I am the connection for any student who wants to travel abroad for academic or career purposes, providing information needed to begin the application process; representing the company at my school; introducing students to not only the advisors they need to reach on campus and in the country to better understand the places they want to experience, but to also connect them with advisors and directors from other countries.
Cashier, sweet tomatoes pizzeria; s. Yarmouth, Massachusetts — April 2016-present
At Sweet Tomatoes, my main position is to work the register, help customers over the counter and the phone, while also keeping the restaurant cleaned and stocked. When I’m not assisting at the front of the store, I tend to the financial book ; clean the kitchen and the dining room; prepare, cook, and deliver food; and train new employees.
Student volunteer, Massachusetts aggression reduction center; bridgewater, Massachusetts — January 2018-present
As a student volunteer, I work together with a group of other students at Bridgewater to focus the attention of children (18 years and younger) on creating a more positive atmosphere at their schools and reducing violence/bullying/cyberbullying/etc. We sit down with these children, listen to their issues and discuss better ways to handle, stop, and prevent these situations from worsening or even beginning.
Dog Team volunteer, Animal Welfare league of queensland; Helensvale, Australia — February 2019- april 2019
As a volunteer, each shift I gained experience with animal husbandry, worked in a shelter environment, helped train and perform handling techniques for canines; and be trained for dog enrichment and care treatments. I spent three months constantly following a routine of making sure each dog was fed, washed up, exercised, distressed, and ready for meeting any potential new family members. Before beginning my work hands-on, I was trained by the staff on how to chart the well-being of each animal; procedures to undergo when a dog is ill; how to go about understanding what food each dog needs, making their food, and delivering it; keeping awareness of their behaviors, especially with new people and other dogs.

I have come to balance being a reliable worker, who can learn quickly and efficiently, manage time wisely, think critically, and organize skillfully. I am able to give everything I can to get the job done, and get along with my coworkers to promote teamwork, and can keep my own personal and private life separate from my work.
