Cashier and Waitress, Cloisters Continental Café (Hampshire) Dates: July 2019-Current
• Coffee trained- Skilled in knowledge and production of different types of coffees, and confidently tailor to meet individual customer preference.
• Management- Personally responsible for opening and closing the café in the correct manner and organizing the employees work rota on a weekly basis.
Waitress, ASK Italian Restaurant (Hampshire) Dates: September 2015-February 2016
• Head waitress– Trained new team members in key competencies and the fast-paced environment helped me to work efficiently under pressure.
• Cross trained- Responsibilities ranged from customer interaction, bar work to back of house.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Foreign Language Teacher and Sport Coach Volunteer (Fiji) Dates: June-July 2018
• Teaching skills- Introduced interactive, out of classroom, teaching methods for academically struggling students; showing new ways of meeting objectives in different and sometimes challenging scenarios.
• Cooperation- Leaders needed to work together to achieve key aims and effectively communicate was required of the students, both in classroom and sports ground.
Hearst Live, Events Team (London) Dates: September 2018
• Organisation- Control of event guest lists encouraged me to be attentive to detail and responsive to change. I discussed requirements with clients and invited key speakers.
• Supply side operations- Organising guest ‘goody bags’, contacting suppliers and organising the delivery and packaging of products showed my organisational ability.
• Social media and marketing- Responsible for the Hearst Live Social Medias encouraged creativity as I constantly discovered new material to post. I gained an understanding of the ‘brand’ of Hearst and the importance of maintaining a strong online network between brand and consumers.
• Onsite setup- Helping the setup of ‘Red Magazines’ 20th birthday Launch party gave me valuable on ground experience and the importance of different logistical components needed to execute large-scale events.

• Shadowed the Head of Marketing and participated in meetings, helping me gain knowledge within the department. Also worked within social media and in general administration.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR
Event Manager, ‘KUBIC’
Dates: November 2017. Co-managed ‘Kubic’, a Cardiff based, Music Event launched 09/10/2017.
Involvement highlighted my entrepreneurial spirit and challenged my business awareness that motivated me to be ambitious and try new things in the future. Roles included:
• Brand marketing- Through the Social Medias, online competitions and distribution of flyers.
• Organization- Booking DJ’s, hiring and organising event space, lighting and sound.
• IT skills- Experience in excel spreadsheets to create cost, revenue and profit analysis and helped my understandings of financial management in business.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND SKILLS
Achievements: Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award 2013. Trained in First Aid. Achieved Grade 5 Flute.

IT Skills: Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and confident working in the Windows Operating System.
