Assist in the dis-assembly of vehicles; remove damaged vehicle parts; ensure all needed repairs are identified; remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window and seat operating equipment and trim; move parts to storage to protect from damage; follow work order; hammer and fill dents; operate a variety of hand and power tools; use body filler to fill any depressions; assist in reassembly after parts come back from paint; sand repaired surfaces; check for gaps in repair; aim headlamps and repair or replace defective parts; test drive repaired vehicles; clean and detail vehicle in order to return to customers and keep shop stall clean and in good order.
