I was very excited to see the posting for the BarefootStudent Internship when researching your company. I am a fresh graduate that studied Advertising and Business at the University of Alabama.
I believe with my education, prior experience with social media teams and fluency in all things advertising and marketing makes me a great fit for this position.
Before my college career I was immersed in the social media relations starting in high school with very little knowledge of what it takes but learned on my own what draws and influences consumers. This then led the path to all things learned leading into my college career.
Throughout my college career, I have been on digital marketing teams along with small roles within my sorority creating content to recruit new members. The classes offered at the University has also given me the opportunity to showcases skills and learn new ones that have become stepping stones to where I am now.
I currently hold the role of Creative Director for my Advertising Campaigns class which is the final undergraduate class for Advertising Majors. Our client in this class is the Baltimore Orioles along with their partnership with eSports. It is my job to oversee the all things creative for this advertising campaign that my team and I are creating. This will give me a great opportunity to showcase the skills I have acquired over the years and new ones that will spark creative ideas, which I can share once the campaign is over. This will give me a shot at what real agency experience is like as well as communicating with clients that I would have at an actual job. As well as this, I am currently on the team that is launching the University of Alabama's new streaming channel, Twitch. Twitch is a live streaming video platform that is taking the digital media by a storm. Being a part of this team is introducing me to the digital streaming market that is the platform for generations of creators and consumers to come.
As shown in my resume, I have unique experiences in the
Advertising and Marketing industry. I am confident that I have the skills necessary to excel in this position, also with room to grow in the industry.
