PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Project Leader (8/2018 – 5/2019) Skanska Affiliate WPI IQP Future of Construction
Oversaw major project that successfully identified and researched areas of the construction industry that are most in need for innovation. Utilized current industry trends to find and analyze what innovative products or technologies are viable and would positively impact the industry. The project resulted in a proposal being created for Skanska in pursuit of future innovation.

ACADEMIC PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Introduction to Robotics
Designed and developed a sensor-based robot with a power transmission and lifting device that efficiently sorted colored eggs into baskets with the capability to be autonomously-controlled. Used C++ with Arduino mini a color sensor and a pair of motors and servos to control the movement and lifting device restively. Manual drive using a controller on Bluetooth bitstream data and an autonomous function mode were both implemented.

Unified Robotics I: Actuation
Created and programmed a robot for simulated nuclear reactor that could follow lines, use PID systems, and interpret wireless information to decide where to go for disposing of radioactive rods. Used C++ to control servos and read senators connected to an Arduino mega.

Unified Robotics II: Sensing
Built and implemented a robot that navigated structured environments with no maps. The robot used sensors to find and extinguish simulated fires and report the location of fires in correlation to starting spots. Implemented C++ based script that used A* algorithms and camera, IR and IMU sensors to map its surroundings and traverse them.

Unified Robotics III: Manipulation
Designed an automatic robot sorting arm that could use a camera to identify and localize objects while measuring and displaying applied force vectors based on weight and color to sort into boxes. Implanted a Java and MATLAB based program which used PID controls for each of the arms servos, used a camera to find the paths of the arm and analyze the objects it needed to sort.

Unified Robotics IV: Navigation
Developed ROS packages and nodes for turtlebot3 burger so it could navigate an unknown sized maze from a corner to a diagonally opposite corner in the quickest possible manner.

Software Engineering
Tested and deployed an application for kiosks in a hospital. Utilized Agile methodology and software design patterns in Java. Integrated service request modules with databased based authentication and email alerts. Implemented BFS, DFS, A*, IDDFS algorithms to map rotes to and from locations on the map in addition to authenticated staff log ins allowing for editing the nodes in the GUI.

Computer Graphics
Designed and completed numerous platforms using Java and HTML5 with OpenGL to implement, wireframes, shading, lighting, ray tracing, textures, and animations in a variety of projects.

Control Engineering
Modeled dynamical systems in engineering applications while using MATLAB to assist in designing control systems including PID systems.

Intro to AI
A multitude of machine learning an AI projects ranging from adversarial search, neural networks, decision trees, CSP and bayesian networks.
