Other Experience
• Activism
I have been an ally member of the Indigenous Student Alliance at McGill University for two years. This year, the Indigenous students on campus launched a successful campaign to change the name of the school’s male athletics teams - The Redmen - a derogatory term for Indigenous people. I was very active in the campaign and in other efforts of the ISA.
• Theatre Design
I designed the lighting and the set for a production of Desdemona: A Play about a Handkerchief by Paula Vogel at Tuesday Night Café Theatre at McGill University in Montreal. I was also in a design program with Conservatory Theatre Ensemble in high school.
• Clothing Design
In high school, I had a company with my younger sister called Cthulhu Designs. We made and sold sweatshirts to raise money for her athletic academy tuition.
• Languages
I speak conversational French from living in Paris as a child and living in Montreal during University. I also speak conversational Spanish from my time in Panama
