Recently moved here from Austin, Texas and looking to grow my community while also finding a working environment that helps foster my interests and teaches me new skills. Recognized for my skills in effectively working with young children in a group setting, and my maturity while teaching students of a large range of ages.

EXPERIENCE

TEIA Sailing, Peaks Island ME � Sailing Instructor
Summer 2012 - Summer 2017

Began as a junior instructor and worked for two summers learning the skills required to properly manage a class made up of kids with a varying range of ages in a potentially dangerous setting.
Later hired as a Full-time Instructor and began running the Opti program for younger kids and mentoring junior instructors.
Taught Adult Sail starting in the summer of 2015 as well as occasionally teach independent lessons run by the Club.

Experience running multiple different social media accounts from multiple different platforms to promote sales.
Currently running the First Friday ArtBox and coordinating interviews and meet-ups with local Portland artists in order to help grow the Arts community in town.

Independent Clothing Design

Started a project to design embroidered jean products to raise money for the parks in my hometown of Austin, Texas in May of 2017.

Created an independent business based on the success and interest I received in my products during my first month. Experience reaching out to people via social media and engaging customers directly as well as fostering a positive working relationship for the future.
