CAREER OBJECTIVE

I aim to hone my skills to create efficient and beautiful experiences that excite and educate the users. Specifically, I am interested in computer human interaction, especially in game design. I hope to utilize my skills to eventually create enthralling immersions for the consumer.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

18 JUNE 2018 – 10 AUGUST 2018 CHEMICAL ENGINEER INTERN, ALBEMARLE CORPORATION I was responsible for creating slurries and electrodes, using these electrodes to construct coin cells, testing these coin cells, and analyzing the resulting data with Python. On top of this, I was able to successfully collaborate and brainstorm with others when coming up with novel ideas to pursue to increase lithium-ion efficiency.

EDUCATION AUGUST 2018 – MAY 2021 TARGET DIPLOMA: B.S IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, VIRGINIA TECH VT Scholar and Pratt Engineering Scholar with the specific interest in computer-human interaction and design.
JUNE 2018 HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, EAST MECKLENBURG HIGH Graduated in the top 3% of my class, and also earned the IB Diploma. I mainly studied math, chemistry, and music. Weighted GPA: 5.04

OTHER WORK EXPERIENCE

14 JANURARY – PRESENT DAY RESIDENT ADVISER, VIRGINIA TECH I currently work as a Resident Adviser, providing resources to students who live on campus. It is my responsibility not only to ensure safety, but to create, organize, and execute activities that will elevate the student’s experience at this university. In addition to this, I must also be able to be composed and communicate efficiently in high-pressure situations.

JUNE 22 – AUGUST 3RD RESIDENT ADVISER, JOHNS HOPKINS, CENTER FOR TALENTED YOUTH At Center for Talented Youth, I not only supervised brilliant children every day, but I organized and led activities and classes and worked closely with instructors to ensure each child’s well-being. I must always have a good attitude and be adaptable for any situation that may arise. MAY 14 – PRESENT DAY

EVENT COORDINATOR, VIRGINIA TECH GAMING PROJECT The VTGP is a club for students interested in any aspect of game design. As Event Coordinator, I work with the members and exec board of the club to organize game jams and other collaborative projects. I also work independently on my own videogames.
