Graphic designer and artist background Interior designer

Please accept my application for the full-time interior design internship position. I have strong academic preparation based on a diverse career in the design industry, and I have developed successful teaching experience and scholarship at Illinois State University. I believe that my skills and academic background will complement the values of commercial interior design. I have provided services to develop interior design programs with integrated principles of fine art and design. Thus, with my experience and knowledge in visualization, I have an ability to solve visual solutions for presentation.
I have built my education and field experiences based on my passion for creativity through art and design. After earning my undergraduate degree in fine arts, I worked as a designer for more than 10 years. Using my vast art-related knowledge, I then successfully shifted my career from fine arts to the design field. Further, I have utilized various visual communication tools in my field experiences, including manual hand-drawing, painting, and sculpting; in addition, I have utilized digital software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketchup, Autodesk Sketchbook, Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office One Note. Further, as a project manager for XRI Inc. in South Korea, I managed the design team and communicated with the program development team to develop software, converting two-dimensional film to three-dimensional film, as used in trailers for Hero (by Zhang Yimou, 2002) and Transformers (by Michael Bay, 2007).
Through my wide range of experiences in related fields, I am confident that I will make valuable contributions to your company providing visual solutions for presentation and design process by assisting main designers.
