My Bachelor degree is in Fine Arts but before I finalized my major, I was overwhelmed with interest in many of the surrounding subjects including Art History, Sociology, Anthropology, and Classics. At times, I have found myself spending hours staring at images of ancient art on cave walls, trying to figure out the story the artists told. I love discovering the stories and emotions that humanity attempts to tell though art when we cannot find the words to express how we truly feel. It is fascinating how our values and our gods have evolved over the millennia and continue to evolve and grow to this day.

As you will find in my resume, which follows this statement, I have spent the last three years in various positions in the public school systems across the country. While I deeply love the work I did there, eventually it became clear to me that the future I saw for myself there was not the one I had envisioned when I was in school, myself. I want to learn more about how we humans express ourselves and I want to be able to share that with the people around me and be surrounded by people who love humanity and love our contribution to creation.

I hope that you will consider me for this position, as I believe it is a perfect place for me to be.
