WORK EXPERIENCE:

LOUISVILLE METRO GOVERNMENT: OFFICE OF THE MAYOR, Louisville, KY 2018-2019
Editor and Motion Graphics Artist, Post-Production Consultant, “City of Ali”
Worked for multiple years with a small team to produce a documentary on Muhammad Ali and his ties to the city of Louisville following his death. Researched and curated a collection of archival footage and images to be used in the film and oversaw their implementation. Edited motif-driven montage segments and image sequences. Conceived and designed all motion graphics and animated elements for use in the film. Facilitated communication between the mayor’s office, the Muhammad Ali Center, other members of the team, and other various sources.

MUHAMMAD ALI CENTER / INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Louisville, KY 2019
Editor and Motion Graphics Artist
Collaborated with the Muhammad Ali Center to create an video / animated photo piece for display in the terminals of the Muhammad Ali International Airport. Curated and employed a collection of archival footage according to the vision of the Ali Center. Animated photographs, text-graphics, and logos for use in the film. Coordinated with members of both the Ali Center and the Muhammad Ali International Airport on matters of the video’s presentation and content.

KENTUCKY CENTER GOVERNOR’S SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS, Louisville, KY 2017-2019
Documentarian
Responsible for all photo and video documentation of the 2017 & 2018 sessions of the Kentucky Center’s Governor’s School for the Arts. Generated video and photographic documentation of the students daily for promotional use on social media, printed materials, and fundraising initiatives. Scheduled, prepared and conducted interviews of faculty and students for all documentary and social media communication. Catalogued all photos and videos for ease-of-use in the future. Lived on-campus to fully immerse myself in the program in order to better communicate the program to the world.

THE MODERN HIGHLANDER, Louisville, KY 2015-2016
Editor-in-Chief
Created a website containing photo and video documentation of the various activities of students at the Highlands Latin School. Regularly updated, the site built a subscriber base of over 150 students and parents in a high school containing around 120 students. Created initial concept and won support and approval from administration to build an electronic yearbook, and negotiated all terms with third-party website and designed the interface, layout and used video for the first time for the school. Directed film shoots and trained other students to work on the website.

"The Man on TV" STORYTELLING EVENT, Louisville, KY 2016
Audio-Visual Specialist
Collaborated with professional storyteller and Louisville Metro Government speechwriter, Graham Shelby, to create audio-visual accompaniments to a theatrical storytelling event presented to the Louisville community at Bellarmine University, about Shelby’s experience growing up after the Vietnam War and relationship with his veteran father. Researched various depictions of the Vietnam War and developed a photographic montage set to period music with a tube-television motif.

180 DEGREES DIGITAL STORIES, Louisville, KY 2015
Production Assistant
Worked as an independent contractor to create commercial content for the Splat Out Cancer fundraising event run by the Scoppechio and the James Graham Brown Foundation. Shot behind-the-scenes, slow-motion, and day-of-event footage for use in televised commercial production and various social media platforms. Coordinated with event supervisors and also provided promotional content that was aired on local news outlets to advertise the event.
