I am applying for a communication position. I learned about this position through my personal online research. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations, communications and a minor in English.

My writing skills, communication skills, research skills and organizational skills are extensive. Many of the courses that I have taken endorse me as well-rounded in those areas. I am currently employed as a customer experience representative at Comcast NBC Universal where I am encouraged to work and communicate with a team to produce efficient service to our customers. My past work experiences at a marketing firm provided me with unique communication skills as I became accomplished in understanding other individual’s non-verbal communication, problem-solving skills, and the ins and outs of a business. At my current employer, I have been rewarded for my ability to maintain and keep track of documentation to help the company maintain organization of records. I am a dedicated self-starter and a teachable public relations pre-professional with exceptional knowledge in the communication industry.

As a pre-professional, I have had the ability to accumulate relevant courses. I have received proficient experience and reported grades that play an important role. I have taken Communication Research, Digital Media Writing, Communication Media and Law, Public Relations Writing and Business Writing. During these instructive experiences, I have become proficient in interpersonal communication, press release writing, social media marketing, and AP style writing. One of my accolades throughout my educational career includes being honored as the “PR Campaign Winner” and the “2017 Keystone Award Winner.” Both awards were given to a group of students who created a campaign for non-profit organizations. Both organizations requested assistance in research about its location and audience, as well as creating a blueprint for how the business should be operated. This experience, helping a client, created a way that positively reflects my future as a public relations professional.
