GENERAL/ INTERESTS
I am an actor at heart but I am slowly also transitioning into film writing and directing. I have excellent interpersonal and presentational skills, seeking customer service or administrative work. Through acting and now directing I've developed fantastic organisational skills and respond very well working as part of a team. My experience at drama school and in theatres has made me an excellent communicator who understands very well how to relate to others. Currently I am seeking to commit to a rewarding position that can stabilize and support my artistic interests. I am very comfortable in public speaking and personal development.
EDUCATION
One Year Program in Film making, Digital Film Academy
MA in Acting, University of East London, (2013). Thesis Title: How, and to what extent, can a relationship be built between two artists based on creating a piece of devised theatre.
BA Hons in Acting for Stage and Screen, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), (Affiliated by Kings College London University), (2011)
EXPERIENCE
Apprentice Director- Silent Voices Uganda (2018)- Trained as an apprentice director at theatre company Silent Voices in Uganda.
Workshop Facilitator- Theatre in the Park Zimbabwe (2018)- Worked with the teen group in teaching acting for stage
Workshop Facilitator- Reps Theatre Zimbabwe (2018) Worked with the teen group in teaching the acting for stage
Workshop Facilitator - RADA (2011-2017) - As part of my training at RADA I travelled to several institutions across London facilitating workshops. My role was to plan and deliver the workshop effectively according to the place we were visiting. These places included schools, prisons and care homes. It was my responsibility to represent RADA as professionally as possible through all interactions with the institutions and their clients.
Usher- RADA (2010-2014) In addition, as part of my training, I had experience in ushering at the local stage theatre. This involved being part of the floor staff.
Theatre in Education - Orange Tree Theatre/ Richmond Schools London (November 2015 -2017) - As part of a team of actors/leaders I toured schools in the Richmond area in London, England performing and giving workshops in Shakespeare. Punctuality was essential to make sure the tour ran smoothly. In each school we had to be well presented and liaise efficiently with staff members to organise the workshop and its undertaking. Working with young people was very enjoyable and allowed to further develop my communication skills.

Takunda Maravanyika is a trained actor from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) graduating in 2011. Some of his roles whilst at RADA where, Angelo in Measure for Measure, as well as Othello, Mr Sloane in Entertaining Mr Sloane, Dionysus in The Bacchae, as well as Oshoosi Size in the Brother�s Size. Some of his work since graduating are, Orsino in Twelfth Night at the Orange Tree Theatre, Sour Lips at the OvalHouse, Eye of the Needle at the Bush Theatre, Chasing the Moon at the Drill Hall, If Only Sharukh Khan at Theatre in the Mill.
