Personal Interests
I am a creative, independent and well-organised individual with a passion for the written word, whether it be reading, writing or editing, and as such, I am never too far from a good book, newspaper or magazine. I have a passion for learning and understanding new things, whether independently or in a team. I consider myself to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, regarding grammar, syntax, public-speaking and word-processing. I can often be found researching for my degree work or carrying out my responsibilities as the university’s newspaper’s Arts Sub-Editor. Equally, I enjoy socialising with friends, going to the gym and spending time in Bristol’s three museums and colourful city centre. My experience in retail, journalism and jury service has given me a valuable platform to improve my public-speaking, organisation and perseverance. I am very grateful for my sub-editing role as it has let me continue a great passion of mine. Achieving an A* in my EPQ is testament to my writing, organisational and public-speaking abilities. My goal is to work in a role that would allow for me to improve my written, organisational, public-speaking and leadership skills.
