Communications Specialist
I am a recent college-graduate from Concordia College Moorhead who is looking forward to entering the professional world. As a Communication Studies major, I have spent the past four years studying communication theories, the importance of interpersonal relationships, how to effectively lead an organization, and how to be an analytical member of society. As a Liberal Arts student, my learning was enhanced through taking courses in various departments, where I was taught the meaning of a global mindset. Recently I participated in a program with the Nansen Center for Peace and Dialogue where I stayed in Lillehammer, Norway and met people from around the world.�
In both my academic and professional life, I have been consistently praised for my excellent organizational skills and charismatic personality. These traits have allowed me to apply intentional accommodation to all patrons of the organizations I have worked for. Currently, in my position with Concordia College�s Advancement office I use a PC and Microsoft Word daily. My experience as a Day Camp Director at Luther Crest Bible Camp developed strong leadership skills such as problem solving, conflict mediation, and the ability to complete tasks with efficiency. These are all things I would hope to leverage into a position with any organization.
