EXPERIENCE
Patient Care Technician/Monitor Technician, Saint Vincent’s Medical Center, May 2019- Present
• Responsible for obtaining vital signs and blood sugars according to physician orders for up to fourteen patients.
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living and more, such as: elimination assistance by bedpan, urinal, bedside commode, catheter, pure wick, or restroom; Assisting with perineal care, bed baths, and HCG baths; Connecting patients to a five lead heart monitor; assisting with admission and discharge of patients; obtaining daily weights and monitoring the intake and output of patients; rounding every two hours and accurately charting every two hours.
• Monitor the heart rhythm for every patient on the floor in order to quickly identify and irregularities that may occur.
