SXSW | Film Festival Production Coordinator (Contract) | November 2019 to March 2020
Touching on the worlds of film, culture, music, and technology, SXSW is a conference that celebrates the unexpected discovery that happen when a diversity of topics, people, backgrounds, and industries are all in one space.
• Coordinate all production needs for the film festival, which includes print art needs, signage, awards and plaque production, red carpets, banners, furniture, special activations, queueing management, and sponsored product.
• Manage the load in and strike of all 9 film venues and 17 screens.
• Act as main point of contact for VR Cinema filmmakers and coordinate the execution of the VR Cinema exhibit.
• Manage all of the SXSW Film inventory, off-site storage units, vehicle rentals, and equipment rentals.
• Hire and manage all Film Production independent contractors, including the Poster Competition Gallery Curator, the SXSW Film Poster Designer, the 28 Production Assistants, and the Production Intern, negotiating contracts, scheduling, and dispatching.
• Coordinate contract agreements, working with the Accounting team to negotiate quotes and badge trades.
• Managing relationships with current and past donors and coordinating all film asset trades.
• Creating front of house and line maps and diagrams for all venues.
• Managing prize package allocating to the winning filmmakers.
• Assist in programming the Title Sequences Program and Competition.

SFFILM | Film Festival Production Manager (Contract) | February 2019 to May 2019
Non-profit film organization that champions the world’s finest films and filmmakers through programs anchored in and inspired by the spirit and values of the SF Bay Area. SFFILM Festival is the longest running film festival in the Americas.
• Oversee all production needs for the festival, which includes 9 screening venues, multiple events (including Opening Night Party, Awards Nights, Closing Night Reception, etc.), special art installations and activations, and involves managing the movement of all equipment and physical props.
• Manage all of SFFILM inventory, including off-site storage units, furniture rentals, sponsored product, operations & production equipment, and Tech department rentals.
• Work with all departments across the company to ensure that their production needs are met.
• Oversee the strategic distribution of 35,000 festival guide books throughout the Bay Area.
• Manage a team of Production Assistants and their schedule in an efficient, organized, enjoyable, and productive way.
• Managed the movement of Production vehicles across the SFFILM HQ/Lounge, Special Events, Onstage events, theater & screening load ins and load outs.
• Manage budget for all production rentals, purchases, labor costs.
• Manage the parking permits required at all venues, working with the city to reserve all spots as needed and managing the parking schedule for the SFFILM team, internally.
• Coordinate all deliveries of sponsored products and collateral.

Museum of Ice Cream | Senior Operations Manager & Head of Production | Aug 2017 to February 2019
Experiential design company that builds transportive experiences using digital, environmental, theatrical, and product design in service of imagination, community, and human connection.
• Led a successful sold out run of the pop-up experience that eventually led to establishing a permanent presence in San Francisco. This is Museum of Ice Cream’s first permanent location.
• Manage, design, and execute all production projects in the San Francisco location. Including creative direction, project scoping, budgeting, and contract negotiating.
• Designed and led what the Founder called their “most successful experience to date” during the execution of our first official Research & Development experimental experience.
• Manage the daily and weekly production needs as it pertains to scheduling contractors, production assistants, installations, de-installations, etc.
• Manage the production team and a team of art preparators during weekly and monthly production builds.
• Manage all major demos, renovations, installation changes in the museum.
• Oversee the constant maintenance of all physical spaces in the museum including exhibits, gift shop, back-of-house, and storage spaces to keep everything in top shape.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the San Francisco location, which sees over 1700 ticket visitors daily 6 days a week
• Manage a staff of 100 members and performers while fostering a strong, fun, supporting, hardworking environment and culture.
• Act as manager-on-duty several times a week and manage a staff team of 22 during daily operations to ensure that all guests enjoy an immersive, theatrical, seamless experience in our building. This includes owning all customer service interactions to bring an elevated and delightful experience to each person.

San Francisco-based non-profit theatre company focused on creative works that are reflective of the authentic perspectives and history of the Bay Area.
• Received the Theatre Bay Area Award for Outstanding Choreography.
• Nominated for the Isadora Duncan Dance Award in Outstanding Achievement in Choreography.
• Produced and directed choreography for I, Too, Sing America, which was BATCO’s most successful and only sold-out show to date.
• I, Too, Sing America is a multimedia performance piece which featured works by poets of color set to music and dance.
