Skills
Painting:
• Knowledge of use/benefits of many kinds of paints and paint applications, included but not limited to: oil, acrylic, watercolor, ink and encaustic
• Knowledge of use/benefits of paint mediums and solvents
• Making oil paint from pigment
• Priming and stretching canvas
• Dismantling, packaging and conservation of paintings
• Mixing colors and proficiency in color theory
• Knowledge of variety of paint tool use/benefits

Ceramics:
:Mold Making
• Experienced with slip casting (porcelain and stoneware), ranging from simple one-part molds to a more complicated five-part mold
• I am very familiar with silicone, cement, aqua resin, and plaster mold making processes as well as benefits and use for the materials themselves

:General
• Loading and unloading kilns, including special temperature and duration programming, and some kiln maintenance
• Maintaining safe and clean work environment for students
• Tool checkout
• Glaze mixing and maintenance of consistency in large quantities
• Pottery wheel maintenance
• Stock room material packaging and record keeping for all shop materials

Other Skills:
Both knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier and InDesign Printmaking (lithography, etching, screen print).
