Skills Summary
I really like to visualize the whole situation and like to think things all the way through. I like to be well educated about the topic that I am given so that I may be able to educate others as well. I can follow this by being a leader and having responsibilities to keep me busy. I enjoy being involved with group work because we are able to get multiple views and accomplish a common goal. With working on a ranch with my dad I felt like I have also learned is to be humble and develop a good work ethic and it will get you far in life despite what you do.
Education

For all four years my cumulative GPA was a 3.2 and I served many leadership roles in extracurricular activities.

Currently, I am seeking a career pathway in the College of Education. As of right now I am on a pursuit to major in Sports Management with a minor in either Marketing or Public Relations. I really enjoy talking to people and also like the marketing techniques that I have learned from retail experience.
Experience
Craig Stein Beverage Co.
Delivery Driver 05/2018
This job required plenty of skills in a fast-passed work environment. I had to interact with a group of individuals in order to make sure the product was accurate and delivered to the proper location. Our products consisted of IPA alcohol as well as wine that was delivered to bars and restaurants around the Wood River and Sun Valley area. Communication was the key skill for this job and I think I executed this skill effectively.
Valley Wide Cooperative
Warehouse Employee 01/2018
This job also required many skills to be able to please the customer as well as organization with the products. I operated the forklift and I organized animal feed into appropriate slots in the back of the warehouse. In arranging the feed, I had to properly inspect the feed and validate that it was not going bad. Since this store was a farm store I had to be familiar with a large number of farm equipment as well as animal nutrition and wellness products. The most exciting part of my day would be when we had to ship product to one of our other locations in the valley. This is When I would operate the forklift and organize the pallets of feed or sometimes even farm equipment on the truck.
Bronco Shop
Sales Associate 09/2017
Dealing with people is the main responsibility in the retail industry. Assisting people with their needs was what I dealt with because it was a sports store for the university. Being well organized was also a big skill that tested me because a lot of the products were constantly being relocating so that it would help attract more customers. The whole entire store had to maintained cleaned during all business hours. This kept me quite busy throughout my shift due to me having to clean displays or fold clothes.
Awards and Acknowledgements
Student Government Boys Representative
While in high school I felt like I needed to give back to the community, so I got involved in the student government. As a boy’s rep I was in charge of organizing events and even helping in events to try and get the high school students more involved. I was also involved in lots of community service in order to make our community cleaner and better than it was.
Academic Athlete
During my senior year I was involved in both basketball as well as football. Two of the most sports that I was passionate about but could not be done without really good grades. While it was a struggle to balance both at the same time I take lots of pride in having my grades high and being a part of a team.
Team Captain Football and Basketball
Going into my senior year of high school both my coaches believed that I should take on more responsibility. They saw throughout my high school years that I was always the first one for drills and cleanup. During this process I was in charge of making sure the underclassman were on top of their grades as well as memorizing their position and job tasks.
