For each of our campers, it is really the counselors, activity leaders, and our whole team of amazing individuals that make our campers smile and create such a unique and inspiring place for campers to be their best selves. Have no doubt, each of our Smile Makers impacts our campers lives in positive ways.

Camp High Hopes provides quality inclusive camping experiences for campers of all ability levels in day and residential camp settings. Campers between the ages of 5 - 105 receive individualized support from trained counselors and program staff, with a focus on ensuring that each camper feels valued and successful in a challenging and safe environment. Activities and schedules are designed in a way to afford all campers extra time to spend doing what is most interesting and exciting to them. Coupled with a qualified and person-centered group of staff members, a summer at Camp High Hopes is sure to be nonstop fun in the sun!

A key component to the fulfillment of our mission is the support we provide to children, youth and adults of all abilities through enriching recreational activities. You will be responsible for the safety and well-being of the campers by working as part of the cabin unit. Being a counselor will require living on site during the summer, consistently aid in the daily tasks and routines of campers, including helping campers with personal care. Weekday, weekend, evening, and overnight work is to be expected, depending on position.

These can include archery, recreation games, canoeing, swimming, tree climbing, arts and crafts and many more activities. We change lives by expanding actual and perceived boundaries, and we teach others to value individuals regardless of their abilities.

| Qualifications |
18 years or older, CPR/First Aid certified. Applicant must display and value maturity, professionalism, positivity, grit, self-motivation, and skills working with individuals with disabilities.
