PHCC San Diego seeks a Marketing and Event Coordinator to help support the Executive Director in preparing, promoting, and executing events for our organization. This is a seasonal position that will include multiple events varying from a Golf Tournament to a Graduation Dinner Ceremony to a large Tradeshow. The Position will be considered a PART-TIME Contractor position, 20-30 hours a week. Closer to events, hours may increase.

Pay: $20 � 23 DOE

Responsibilities include:
� Coordinate with the Executive Director and Event Committee to plan events
� Provide administrative support for the organization�s events
� Act as the liaison between the venue and the third-party vendors (DJ, photographer, rental company, etc.)
� Connect with industry affiliates to source sponsorships, speakers, etc.
� Promote events through different channels to grow guest lists
� Traveling locally to promote events
� Provide support at all events
� Maintain event tracking charts and details of event progress
� Prepare all necessary materials for the event as needed (signage, d�cor, etc.)
� Work with the accounting department for collections and event close-out.
Qualifications:
� Experience with Microsoft Office
� Experience with tradeshows, dinner meetings and other types of events.
� Marketing: social media, email, event promotion, etc.
� event planning skills
� Self-starter mentality
� Multi-tasking ability
� Detail-Oriented with the ability to adapt to changing event conditions
� Time Management
� Team player who is also able to work independently
� Excellent written & oral communication
� Proficiency with Computers, ability to learn new programs
� Graphic Design experience, a plus
� CRM or Event software knowledge
