Lifeguard
Lake Paran is a popular outdoor recreation spot located in North Bennington. We host people from all over the region, camps for kids and special events. Our guests come to swim, boat, fish, picnic and have a great time. We are open weekends from Memorial Day until schools ends when we are open 7 days a week from 11-7 through Labor Day

The Lifeguard is responsible for guarding swimmers at the roped in areas and/or aquatic activities at Lake Paran to secure the safety of members and program participants. These staff will be supervised by our Summer Coordinator and will:
Responsibilities:
Supervise swimming activities at Lake Paran and ensure that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
Supervise and assist in cleaning around lake property and related facilities and equipment
Check in Lake Paran members when not on stand
Instruct swim lessons as needed
Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
16 yrs or older
Certified Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate, or equivalent
American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, or equivalent
American Red Cross Standard First Aid, or equivalent
**American Red Cross Basic Swim Instructor (BSI) or Water Safety Instructor (WSI) preferred but not required
Hours: Full-time or part-time, 11am-6pm Monday-Sunday
We pay $15.00/hour
