Home Care Aide


Physical Requirements:
• Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity as required by individual assignment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including shower, tub, or bed baths, hair, and skin care.
• Assist with ambulating and transfers.
• Assist with meal preparation
• Provide light housekeeping.
• Provide laundry and linen service to include washing, ironing, and folding clothes.
• Provide activities to increase independence.
• Consistently adheres to universal precautions, aseptic techniques, and infection control guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining a healthful, safe environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of client records and condition.
• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to Care Manager.
• Document services delivered in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
