Assistant Dance Instructor
ADC is a small, family-oriented dance company that is continuing to grow and expand as both a recreational and competitive company. We strive to share our love of performing arts with our students educating them with proper techniques and encouraging them to express their passion for dance. Our dancers perform as a team, building each other up, in a professional and fun environment with fun and energetic instructors. Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, Modern, and Hip Hop, are just a few of the classes we offer.
We are currently seeking a fundamental Creative Movement instructor to assist the current instructor to teach and guide. Instructors need to be upbeat, energetic, encouraging, dependable, professional, and able to teach proper technique and your own choreography for our year-end recital, competition as well as community events throughout the year. Our season 10 begins on August 29, 2022- July 1, 2023
Creative Movement Instructor will assist with our toddler dancers ages 1-3 every Tuesday from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm.
Pay is $60.00 per month. ADC is paid monthly.
ADC is an equal employment not-for-profit dance company. We are not in the business for profit but for opportunities for families in Charlotte and surrounding areas.
Must provide your own transportation to and from the dance studio.
Other Responsibilities:
Must arrive on time to prepare for class
Must be able to assist the current instructor with toddler activities
Parent/Teacher relations
Must follow all safety guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID
Must commit to the entire dance season
Experience
Must have a passion and love for dance and kids
Minimum dance experience is welcome
Candidate must teach two classes to display their skills before being hired.
