Voice Teacher
Voice Teacher

Job description
Shining Star Music Academy (------------) is currently looking for Piano and Voice teachers to begin in March of 2023 In Jacksonville! We welcome teachers who can teach another instrument as well (i.e. beginner piano or guitar).

We are looking for a voice teacher candidate who is ready to join our amazing team of passionate teachers and continue to help us grow as our enrollment climbs (anticipating over 300 students this year!) We are a group of teachers who work one-on-one with our students and have great support from our Director regarding training, administration, and scheduling. Message me anytime to learn more about our growing academy or submit your resume to be considered for an interview.

Shining Star Academy is a piano, voice and guitar music lesson academy that offers in-home lessons in Jacksonville, FL and does not have an office/studio space. We drive to our students houses for weekly lessons (driving time is paid as well!). Our Founder and Director, Katrina Mendez, is local to the area.

Hours are flexible to work with the teachers availability and total hours desired to work. Pay is consistent, as we require all lessons paid even if the student cannot be present for a lesson. This is the most wonderful academy to work at, as it is run by a teacher who knows what we teachers need to do our jobs well and be able to continue in this profession.

We focus on the fundamental and technical ability of our students, but we also look for opportunities to spark joy in the student in music. There is always a way to find the passion in a student for their instrument, and we seek that out as teachers here. Our regular teacher meetings and company materials make growing as a teacher so easy, becoming better at what we do all the time.

We are looking for positive teachers to join us in this dynamic traveling work environment, serving our community's youth. If this sounds like you, wed love to hear from you!
