KICKSTART SOCCER, LIL SLUGGERS, and SHOOTING STARS BASKETBALL - National child development programs for kids ages 18 months to 6 years is seeking an energetic, outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic instructor for our locations throughout Broward. Currently in need of Soccer coaches. Paid training, competitive hourly wages, major holidays and school vacations off. This job is perfect for pre-school teachers, teacher aides, responsible college students/grads, and coaches who enjoy playing with, teaching and nurturing toddler and pre-school age children.

Weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday) availability is a must! Coaches are needed for Saturday/Sunday morning classes. Varying weekday (M-F) mornings or afternoon classes are also available.

This position is Part-Time and year-round. Please do not apply if you are looking for seasonal, summer, temporary or full time employment. We are looking for long-term employees. Coaches will teach between 3 and 15 classes per week (4-20 hours) or more, depending on location, schedule, and coach's availability. Reliable transportation and willingness to drive throughout Broward County is necessary. Travel stipends paid for long trips. Bonus opportunities for great coaches. Current class locations are in Lauderhill, Cooper City, Parkland, with plans to soon expand to Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Davie and select preschools.

We are looking for quick learners and mature individuals. You MUST have an energetic, enthusiastic, friendly personality. Some baseball, soccer and/or basketball experience is necessary. Experience working with toddlers is valuable and given priority. We prefer "Kid Magnets" over coaching professionals. Teaching sports to preschoolers is much different than teaching older kids. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Teaching - Directing classes of 4-10 students. The Coach should be able to direct the activities in an organized manner, motivate and engage each child, and teach motor skills, sports skills, as well as encourage positive social and behavioral skills. Coaches are expected to be prepared for class by arriving early and using the curriculum that includes detailed lesson plans.

Sales and Customer Service - The Coach should help parents register for classes, sort out schedule issues, give student evaluations. Communicate openly and establish a positive relationship to each parent. Coaches are expected to be knowledgeable on all of the program policies, schedules, processes, and to help sell and enroll students.

Equipment and Set Up - The Coach is responsible for the equipment they will be using in class each day. This entails getting equipment out of storage and placing it back at the end of class. For some of our preschool enrichment classes, coaches will be expected to carry a set of equipment in their vehicles to transport to and from class.

Class Management - Coaches are expected to keep track of students progress and discuss with parents. Coaches must take attendance, monitor registration fees and payments, ensure release/waiver forms are signed, hand out information flyers, give out T-shirts and medals.

Training - Instructors may be asked to train new instructors.

- Ability to make kids smile and laugh!
- Use patience, care and enthusiasm to motivate and engage kids
- Ability to give clear explanations and demonstrations of activities and games
- Deal effectively and compassionately with inappropriate behavior without alienating the child
- Have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple locations
- Establish a nurturing, fun relationship with toddlers
- Love Kids!
- Some Soccer, Baseball, and/or Basketball experience is necessary. Candidates with the versatility to coach all of these sports will be given priority!
- Job experience working with toddlers and preschoolers (18 months - 5 years old) is a HUGE plus!
