Texas Sno is hiring for the 2023 season! We are looking for energetic, responsible, hardworking, customer service-oriented people to be a part of our amazing team!
Must be at least 15 years of age (exceptions at owner�s discretion)
The season begins in March and finishes in November. Peak season is (April � July) weekly hours can range from 20-30+ hours per week during peak months, with daily shifts ranging from 4 to 9 hours. Scheduled hours during off-peak months could be less.
Note: Shifts during the school term can usually be adjusted to your class schedule.
Each shift is typically about 4-9 hours. Cash tips are split at the end of each shift and card tips are split biweekly. Free SnoBalls are included as an employee at Texas Sno!

What We Are Looking For:
- Greeting and serving customers with consistent positivity and enthusiasm
- Taking orders with speed and accuracy
- Follow cash-handling procedures and operate the register
- Closely following sanitation and food safety procedures
- Perform basic cleaning of the food truck
- Complete beginning and end-of-shift prepping and stocking
- Shave ice on Electric Shavers/Pour syrup
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to multitask and switch tasks quickly
- Ability to effectively communicate with management and other employees
- Ability to do simple mathematics (i.e. adding and subtracting)
- Problem-solver, go-getter
- Ability to effectively manage time and priorities
- Ability to take direction and improve performance
- Ability to handle intimidating or overwhelming situations under pressure
- Ability to work efficiently
Job Expectations:
- Be on time and work hard for the duration of your shift
- Have a positive attitude and be respectful of customers, fellow employees, and management
- Be friendly and helpful to each and every customer, making them your first priority
- Be efficient and proactive with keeping up on operational tasks (filling flavor bottles, pulling ice, wiping down tables/benches, emptying the trash, completing inventory checklist, etc)
Requirements:
- Must be willing to obtain "Food Handlers Certification"
- Reliable Transportation
