CMS is an authentic, boutique-style Montessori school located in
Bucks County PA that is committed to doing it right. We are currently interviewing Montessorians with all levels of training that have a growth mindset and a passion for Montessori.
Qualifications: Lead teachers should have an American Montessori
Society (AMS) diploma or equivalent for the level in which they teach and a four-year college degree. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary in that the teacher works well with parents and other staff members.
Some of the responsibilities include:
� Responsible for the preparation of the classroom environment and materials, ensuring that all are complete and in good repair.
� Plan and implement the Montessori curriculum. Give appropriate presentations and establish a record-keeping system to track children�s progress.
� Supervise classroom assistants, substitutes, and parent volunteers.
� Promote good communication among staff members.
� Facilitate a respectful environment for children and adults by utilizing conflict resolution and Grace and Courtesy lessons.
� Maintain open lines of communication with parents. Be available via written communication, conferences, and parent education events.
� Assist in sharing pertinent information when encountering prospective parents.

Hours can be flexible. Full time and part time available.
