The Social Media Marketing Associate Apprenticeship works with senior marketing staff to create and produce creative and impactful content for JLG�s digital and social presence across a variety of platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, mainstream Chinese social media and other emerging platforms. Specific responsibilities include:
1. Pitch, produce and edit multimedia content with direct involvement in researching, scripting, shooting, and editing;
2. Coordinate resources from pre-production through post-production to meet project requirements and help maintain a cohesive creative vision;
3. Develop, produce, and monitor content for social media platforms; engage with our audience and respond to comments and questions;
4. Optimize JLG's social media presence; actively research social trends, best practices and ideas regarding content across different platforms;
5. Create videos and graphics for use across platforms;
6. Contribute ideas and suggestions to cross-functional content and campaign brainstorming sessions; and
7. Work effectively in a performance measured environment.
Skills Knowledge & Expertise:
1. Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing or related field;
2. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills;
3. Experience with multimedia formats, digital standards, and project management;
4. Proficiency with video production and editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.);
5. Experience with motion graphics, Adobe After Effects;
6. Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign;
7. Excellent researching, reporting, writing, and editing skills;
8. Ability to think creatively, effectively collaborate with peers and communicate best practices;
9. Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines;
10.Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
11. Experience managing projects, from brainstorming and planning to content creation, as well as publishing and reporting;
12. Attention to detail.
