We are seeking a Social Media and Digital Content Associate to support the mission of Sporting Kaw Valley, a non-profit youth soccer Club established in 1982. The Social Media and Digital Content Associate plays an integral role in the organization by serving as our "voice" on social media and assisting with our online presence to market SKV programs and services to our target demographic and to the public. This position is responsible for creating, planning, and managing all aspects of the SKV social media presence and engaging members, social media followers, and the public with an innovative outreach strategy. The Social Media and Digital Content Associate will also assist with copy writing/editing, crafting website content, e-newsletters, flyers and other handouts, and email content.

Position Summary:
This position's primary goal is to increase Sporting Kaw Valley�s visibility by continuing to develop and manage the brand image. This position is responsible for the design of all graphic elements, email marketing, social content, and website updates. The position will support all areas of SKV�s youth soccer programming including camps and programs, tournaments and leagues, special events, and more.

Essential Functions:

-Manage and grow the company's social media presence across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
-Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive new membership
-Create engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms
-Monitor, respond or triage customer inquiries on social media
-Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions
-Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
-Write and produce weekly newsletter
-Achieve branding objectives, ensuring creative and copy reflect SKV�s brand standards
-Design marketing collateral to effectively market SKV programs in all markets
-Create content related to sponsorship activation
-Work with local media to gain attention
-Represent SKV and its related affiliates in a professional manner at all times.
-Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Our ideal candidate will have:

-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
-Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in digital content creation for email, website, and social media with advanced experience in social media marketing planning and content creation, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
-Traditional writing skills and expertise in copyediting required
-Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
-Ability to take photographs and video for use in marketing materials

Structure:
20-30 hours per week
In office required, some evenings and weekends
Reports to Executive Director
