About Us

Fil� Gumbo Bar is inspired by the iconic ingredient used to thicken and flavor our gumbo. Fil�, pronounced fee-lay, means thread or string in French, and refers to the dried and ground leaves of the North American sassafras tree.

While Gumbo is our establishment's signature dish, dining at Fil� is an educational feast of the culinary subtleties of Cajun and Creole food � which are as independent as they are intertwined within a complex and rich culinary history.

Fil� Gumbo Bar combines slow-cooked and flavor-rich bases with quality proteins, simmered in steam kettles in front of our guests. This approach allows each guest to customize their dish and the Kettle Chefs to interact with patrons in a way that few other restaurants achieve.

Job Summary

We are seeking Servers, Hosts, and Bartenders to become an integral part of our Grand Opening team! You will take orders and serve food and drinks to patrons at the dining establishment.

Responsibilities:

Serve food and beverages to guests
Explain to guests about menu items
Clean and prepare the dining areas
Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
?Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
Ability to build rapport with guests
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
