Who We Are
Prairie State Hemp is the premier Illinois based hemp brand and distribution company. We started out in 2020 as a farm cultivating and supplying wholesale CBD products to headshops and wholistic stores. Since then, we expanded into a retail storefront in downtown Springfield to showcase our products and added a production center to make them. We create a high-quality, unique selection of CBD and hemp derived THC goodies that pack a punch and truly provide relief. Our products are currently being carried by our retail partners throughout central Illinois and neighboring states. We are steadily growing our brand as we continue to expand our product selection and distribution lines. Within the next 2 years we will see more franchises pop up as our brand continues to act like a prairie fire blazing through the Midwest. Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a highly driven sales representative eager to expand their portfolio into the hemp/cannabis industry. Our ideal candidate will share our passion for the plant while moving product and nurturing client relationships. We need someone that can represent us and remain professional all while spreading good vibes and having fun with it.

What You'll Do
-Teach customers about our products, practices and cannabinoid basics

-Perform local market research to generate retail leads

-Research, contact and hand out samples to leads

-Create and nurture partner relationships with retail business owners and managers

-Resolve any issues with partners.

-Coordinate with home base for product and any other needs

-Study industry trends and sales techniques

-Attend team meetings virtually

Your Skills
-Work experience as a sales representative and/or experience and passion in the hemp/cannabis industry.

-Disciplined and result driven

-Strong selling and communication skills.

-Strong people skills

-Ability to prepare and deliver a sales presentation.

Requirements:
-Sales experience

-Clean criminal record

-21 years of age or older

-Access to a phone/computer

-Driver’s license

-Reliable transportation

Specifics:
-30 Hours a Week

-$12-15/hour + 10% Commission

-Work is performed in person at our facilities and involves local travel to meet wholesale clients.
