Sales Associate
Job Summary:
The Membership Representative is a sales professional responsible for pursuing inside and outside member prospects and reaching individual quotas based on monthly memberships and ancillary revenue.

AVHCC is one of the most dynamic economic, social, and community-oriented forces in the Antelope Valley and AVHCC has been reaching out beyond its region as illustrated by it being awarded the title of Chamber of the Year, Southern California Region 2010 by the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce!
Responsibilities:
? Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
? Prospect and contact potential customers
? Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
? Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
? Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
? Utilize sales materials to present to customers
? Be responsible for sales planning and reporting to management
? Conduct market research to determine potential of products and services
? Perform other related duties as assigned.
Measures of Success:
• Dramatic growth in overall Chamber membership
• Membership diversity by industry, geography, company size
• Financial performance against budget
• Retention in the first two years
• Full integration with Chamber’s capabilities, i.e. promotion, subject matter expertise, etc.
Skills required:
• A strong B2B contact base and business leaders
• Written and oral communications a must.
• Project management preferred.
• Highly organized and detail oriented a must.
• Creativity and strategic thinking
• Problems solving skills.
• Working in a team environment is a must.
• Market research and analytical skills preferred.
• Customer service a must.
• Software Skills
Supervisory:
· None
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
