OwlLight Therapy provides in home, community, and clinic ABA therapy 8:00am-6:00pm to children ages 1-18 years old diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)?
ABA Therapy is a scientific approach that uses behavioral interventions to decrease target behavior and teach socially significant behavior. Each child is unique and their goals are
individualized to their needs.
Examples of skills we teach:
Self-care skills are needed like, potty training, independently
using eating utensils, putting their shoes and coat on. How to communicate their needs and communicate with others. Play and social skills. Basic pre-academic skills, like how to hold a pencil, and how to label colors and numbers. Follow instructions for their safety and independence and so much more!
Furthermore, we promote knowledge and understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis to the families through parent training and quality services. Under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), the Behavior Technicians (RBT) will provide the therapeutic services. RBTS are paraprofessionals certified in behavior analysis and
provide the direct services to the clients.

Qualifications:

Experience: 0-3+ years

Education: Some college

Other skills preferred:

Experience working with children.
Experience working with tablets/computers .
Flexible with children and their skill set.
Open to feedback.
Experience collaborating with others.
Experience or knowledge of children with Autism.
CPR certified.
Required to get certified as a Registered Behavior Technician before starting with clients.

Responsibilities include:

Provide direct 1:1 ABA Therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Facilitate group activities based on the BCBA's plan.
Take data on the client’s progress during the therapy session.
Write session notes at the end of each session.
Set up for sessions/clean up after sessions.
Create materials for the clients based on their goals and programming.
Follow the daily schedule the BCBA has put in place.
Read and answer work emails within 24hrs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
