JOB PURPOSE

This position is a position as a behavior therapist. The purpose of the ABA Therapist with Crosspoint Autism Therapy is to provide the highest quality of in-home ABA therapy to clients, while adhering to ethical and moral guidelines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Behavior Therapist

Reports to behavior analyst over the client case
Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with management, parents, behavior analyst, ABA therapists, and clients
Effectively understands and applies each child’s Behavior Intervention Plan
Prepares progress notes per therapy session to be submitted for insurance purposes, in a timely manner
Consistently implements all components of the client’s behavior plan to reduce client's maladaptive behavior and promote appropriate behaviors
Adheres to the Crosspoint Autism Therapy employee agreement
Accurately records and collects data on target behaviors, goals, and objectives during each therapy session
Implement behavior analytic programs to increase skills across various learning areas
Develop positive relationships with parents, client, and families for effective therapy implementation

QUALIFICATIONS

Behavior Therapist

RBT certificate - Required (If you do not have it but get hired Crosspoint will Pay for it)
Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) background and experience - Required
Experience with children and/or adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities - Required
Reliable mode of transportation
Ability to clear a background check

$18-$25/hour for Behavior Therapist
