Description:
Brain Balance of Greater San Diego seeks a dynamic Coach who possesses outstanding interpersonal and intrapersonal skills and coaching experience with neurodivergent kids, teens, and/or adults. The Brain Balance Program� is a drug-free, brain training program backed by research that addresses the root causes behind behavioral, social, and cognitive challenges (i.e. ADHD, autism, dyslexia, regulation, sensory processing, memory, performance, etc.). Our personalized, holistic program incorporates learnings from cognitive, behavioral, and nutrition fields�an integrated approach that is literally redefining what�s possible. The Coach is responsible for executing individualized programs. In addition, the Coach should maintain communication with parents and staff and support program development and operations as needed. We offer extensive and ongoing training, and training is paid. The Coach reports to the Program Director.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
� Lead students through their individualized Brain Balance program by motivating students ages 4+ and/or adults to complete a series of physical and sensory motor exercises, academic and cognitive skills training, and social and emotional learning (SEL) skills
� Operations
� Outreach/Community relations, as needed
� Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:
� Minimum of a degree in Education, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
� Direct experience working with neurodivergent people (ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, defiance, learning disabilities, etc.)
� Backgrounds in physical training, physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), behavioral interventions such as ABA, psychology, or education a plus
� Effective and adaptable communication strategies with staff, students, parents, and the community
� Bilingual, particularly Spanish a plus
� Organized and detail-oriented; comfortable with tablets and technology
� Creative problem solver, patient, compassionate, proactive, and energetic
� Team player
� Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Hours: Part-time; 10-32 hours/week; opportunities for growth
