Project Manager/Designs/Installation Coordination/Sales for Stainless Metal Fabrication Equipment
Berlin Food & Lab Equipment Co. - South San Francisco, CA 94080
Fast-Paced Position with heavy volume at times. Looking to hire someone energetic that can hit the ground running in a dynamic fast paced environment. 50% in-house 50% in field. Job site visits will be required for collecting project information, measurements, site coordination, data etc...
Berlin Food & Lab Equipment Company is looking for an experienced Project Manager/Estimator/Coordinator. Self managed to hit the ground running. You will be responsible for estimating, measuring, designing to coordinating installations for a wide variety of projects. Excellent communications skills required along with an eye for detail.
Responsibilities
Clearly and accurately define labor hours, material costs and outside service costs for each project quoted in a timely fashion through existing Software.
* Create detailed quotes and proposals defining all aspects of the work in question including price, exceptions & clarifications, FOB Point, Etc.
*Maximize profitability via value engineering suggestions to customers and understanding market opportunities.
*Clearly detail all information on work orders required to manufacture the customer's order to the agreed upon specifications and quote. Information to be included are Man Hours, Material Buy outs (i.e. description, vendor, Delivery Date, and any special instructions.
**CRITICAL**
*Be able to MEASURE/TEMPLATE in detail all aspects of a project and release the fabricated products into the shop, with precise follow through and coordination of installation with the rest of the project management team. Will be required to template/measure anything from wall systems, countertops, stainless lining to full turn-key projects.
*Maintain all job related documentation as well as written and verbal communications. Maintain strong communication with internal departments such as Management, Detailing, Programming, Drafting, Purchasing, QA and Manufacturing.
Requirements
*Communication Skills (Verbal & Written)
*Familiarity with common software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Skills and experience with Engineering Software (Solidworks, CAD, etc) would be helpful but not necessary.
*Educational and experience requirements- 2 plus plus years in Contract Manufacturing, 2 plus years specifically *in estimating projects for Manufacturing. An Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Arts degree in Business would be *helpful but not required. Must speak fluently in English.
