Preschool Director
Looking for a Director to run a NEW play based preschool in West Oakland.
School will offer 2 part-time options for parents so the Director will be on site M/W/F from 8-1p and T/TH from 1-6p.
Basic duties would be:
-oversee care for up to 30 children
-manage staff (2 teachers and 2 aides)
-oversee curriculum for children
-assist with hiring of teache and assistants
Basic requirements would be:
-Community licensing requirments: 12 core units of early childhood development classes/3 units staff relations/4 years teaching OR program director/site suprevisor permits
-experience teaching in center or home daycare setting
