Made to Move LLC, a growing Pediatric Physical Therapy company based in Hilo, Hawaii seeks a Licensed Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant to provide in home and in clinic services to our clients (children ages birth to 18 years of age). Applications are accepted from Licensed PTAs. New Grads are welcome to apply.

Up to 15 hours per week with the opportunity for growth as you serve the Community for our Keiki and families in Pediatric Physical Therapy on Big Island. Shadowing and Training required and provided.

Responsibilities

Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Contributes to the physical therapist�s effectiveness by communicating effectively regarding identifying patient care needs
Implement therapeutic programs as outlined by supervising Physical Therapist, provide therapeutic services within your scope of practice, and progress patient�s exercises as appropriate.
Assists patients health by reviewing patients charts, including medical history and therapy treatment sessions.
Communicates, collaborates with supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient visit limits, appointment schedules, progress notes and auth needs and other administrative tasks.
Notes abnormal conditions by reviewing Physical Therapist�s interpretations of patient evaluations and test results.
Documents patient care services by charting in patient records, accurate, and detailed notes.
Provides quality customer service to children and parents
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, as well as infection-control policies and protocols.
Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities and completing all in scope of practice.
Communication with Supervising PT, in following patients Plan of care, assists patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
Educates and assists patients, and their parents/guardians in performing prescribed activities including HEP.
Qualifications

Previous experience as a Physical Therapy assistant

Able to commute between clinic and patient home locations

Physical Therapy Assistant License in State of Hawaii

Experience preferred, new graduates welcome to apply!
