Family-owned pest control company is seeking a part time Office Assistant. This position will play an integral part of our company by communicating directly with our customers and our technicians. Being a self-starter with great phone and customer service skills is a must for this position!

The Office Assistant will be responsible for the organization and efficiency of the office by answering the phone, scheduling/rescheduling appointments, and billing and receiving payments from our customers. Strong communication skills and the ability to proficiently respond, relay or direct information between our customers and technicians successfully will ensure a smooth and efficient work environment. Upon hiring, training related to pest control services and industry will be provided in order to best serve our clients.

Responsibilities:

Delivering excellent customer service.
Answers telephone,provides information and direct messages to appropriate recipient.
Respond to online inquiries and emails.
Prepares and issues invoices, statements, and applies receipts, checks and other related financial data.
Maintains schedules, calendars and work logs.
Maintains files, logs and other electronic records and spreadsheets.
Assists in preparing and processing correspondence, reports and other documents.
Assists with other office related tasks; including but not limited to word processing, filing, bookkeeping as needed.
Required:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Ability to use a desktop computer and Microsoft Office suite software packages
Strong time management and organizational skills
Availability to work Saturdays
Preferred:

QuickBooks or other accounting software experience
Prior pest control experience is a plus

Salary: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
